The Vancouver Canucks have assigned Bo Horvat to the AHL's Utica Comets for a conditioning stint, the club announced Sunday.
The 19-year-old injured his shoulder during a preseason game against the Edmonton Oilers.
Drafted ninth overall at the 2013 NHL Draft, Horvat scored one goal while appearing in five exhibition games, and recorded 74 points (30 goals, 44 assists) in 54 games with the OHL's London Knights last season.
