Jake Allen will make his debut for the The St. Louis Blues in Saturday night's game against the Arizona Coyotes.

In his first NHL start since the 2012-13 season, head coach Ken Hitchcock is looking to get the nerves out of the way.

"We need to just get him up and running," Hitchcock told Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post Dispatch. "He's going to have some nerves, some butterflies. We've got to play good in front of him so we give him a fighting chance."

Allen appeared in 15 games for the Blues in 2013 for a record of 9-4-0, and rolled to a record of 33-16-3 with the AHL's Chicago Wolves last season.

"He's going to be a big part of our team now and in the future," Hitchcock concluded.
