Avalanche coach Roy on potentially signing Brodeur in wake of injuries: 'Everything is possible'

The Colorado Avalanche are dealing with a delicate situation just two weeks into their season with injuries to both goaltenders. Semyon Varlamov is ailing with a groin injury and will miss three games, while backup Reto Berra is day-to-day.
Instead of going out and signing veteran goaltender Martin Brodeur, head coach Patrick Roy doesn't think the team needs to head down that road just yet.
"Is it something that could change? Everything is possible, but I'd be very surprised," Roy told Mike Chambers of the Denver post.
Though, Roy isn't keen on bringing in a new face.
"We want to see our young guys. We have to give them a chance," he said.
