The Carolina Hurricanes have removed forward Jeff Skinner from injured reserve, the club announced Friday.
Skinner missed the team's first four games - all losses - after suffering a concussion during the preseason. The 22-year-old scored 33 goals and added 21 assists in 71 games last season.
Carolina's next game is scheduled for Oct. 21 against the Winnipeg Jets.
