Flyers' Simmonds misses practice with lower-body injury; listed as day-to-day

Wayne Simmonds did not participate in practice on Thursday due to what the Philadelphia Flyers are calling a lower-body injury.

Simmonds is officially listed as day-to-day. He will travel with the team but it is unclear whether or not he will be in the lineup when Philadelphia opens its season against the Boston Bruins.
