Goaltender Jeff Deslauriers will attend Los Angeles Kings' training camp on a tryout basis, according to Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider.

Deslauriers, 30, was drafted in the second round of the 2002 NHL Draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He's appeared in 62 regular season games since then, most recently as a member of the Anaheim Ducks in 2012. He has 23 wins to his credit, and a save percentage of .901.

Deslauriers posted a record of 20-15-3 with a .895 save percentage in 40 games with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in 2013-14.

Jonathan Quick is obviously in line to pick up the majority of action in net for the Kings this season, with Martin Jones projected to serve as the primary backup. Los Angeles, however, called on three goalies to make at least 15 starts last season, and extra depth at the position is never a bad thing.
