The Philadelphia Flyers received some good news regarding goaltender Steve Mason's finger injury on Monday.

The 26-year-old former Calder Trophy winner broke his right pinky finger during a ball hockey game in July.
Mason emerged as the Flyers' de facto starting puckstopper during his first full season with the club in 2013-14, posting a 33-18-7 record, with a .917 save percentage and a 2.50 goals-against average.
