P.K. Subban doesn't find anything wrong with brother cheering for him, Canadiens
Eric Bolte / USA TODAY Sports
The Montreal Canadiens locked up defenseman P.K. Subban with an eight-year, $72-million contract Saturday. It's safe to say he won't be reuniting with any of his brothers in the near future.
Last week, Boston Bruins goaltending prospect and Subban's brother Malcolm admitted to cheering for the Canadiens - a Bruins rival - in the playoffs.
P.K. responded to the report on the Marek vs. Wyshynski podcast.
"If you're not going to cheer for your brother in the playoffs, I don't know who you're supposed to cheer for. We all support each other. But I'm sure if he was playing against me, he wouldn't want me to do well."
Well said, P.K.
