The Dallas Stars have signed forward Scott Glennie to a one-year, two-way contract, according to Mark Stepneski of stars.nhl.com.
Glennie, 23, was an eighth-overall pick of the Stars at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, but has never really established himself at the NHL level. Nor has he established himself as a top-flight American Hockey League player either.
The former Brandon Wheat Kings forward has appeared in just one NHL game in his professional career. With the Texas Stars this past season Glennie played a supporting role, managing 15 goals and 28 points in the regular season, and added six goals and 10 points in 20 games on the Stars' Calder Cup winning run through the AHL postseason.
