Sabres sign Meszaros to 1-year deal worth 'just over $4M'

The Buffalo Sabres have bolstered their defense corps with the signing of free agent defenseman Andrej Meszaros.
According to Darren Dreger of TSN, the 28-year-old signed a one-year deal worth "just over" $4-million.

Meszaros, drafted 23rd overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2004, split last season between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins.
In 52 regular season games, he recorded seven goals and 15 assists; he appeared in only four playoff games for the Bruins, contributing two assists.
