The Calgary Flames have signed Jonas Hiller to a two-year, $9 million contract.

The 32-year-old spent his entire NHL career with the Anaheim Ducks, posting a record of 162-110-32 over the course of seven seasons, with an average save percentage of .916.

Despite winning a near career-high 29 games in 2013-14, Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau benched the veteran in the playoffs in lieu of youngsters Frederik Andersen and John Gibson, signalling the end of his time with the team.

In 26 career playoff appearances, the 2011 NHL All-Star posted a record of 12-12 with a sparkling .932 save percentage, highlighted by a .943 performance in 13 games back in 2009.

Update: The team has made the deal official.
