Report: Jets re-sign Adam Pardy to $700K contract extension
Shawn Coates / USA TODAY Sports
The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with depth defenseman Adam Pardy on a one-year, $700,000 dollar contract extension, TSN's Darren Dreger reports.
The 30-year-old depth defender appeared in 60 games with the Jets last season, playing limited minutes in a third-pairing role. Though he managed just six assists while facing tertiary competition, Pardy managed the best shot attempt differential among Jets defenders and the club outscored their opponents 30 to 26 with Pardy on the ice at even-strength.
