The Chicago Blackhawks continued to work from within Friday, signing forward Jeremy Morin to a two-year deal.
ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports that the 23-year-old will earn $800,000 per season.
Morin notched 11 points in 24 games with the big club last season and scored at a point per game pace with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs between stints.
Chicago also inked backup goaltender Antti Raanta and center Ben Smith to two-year extensions Friday.
