President and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment Tim Leiweke spoke to media Wednesday afternoon and unleashed some plans for the franchises under the MLSE umbrella.
While he spoke about spending $25,000 on upgrades to the Air Canada Center, he also said a revamp of BMO Field would allow expansion for 40,000 fans and a Winter Classic.
Leiweke: "Why there hasn't been a Winter Classic in Cda is a mistake and shows a lack of respect to this city ..."
