Duncan Keith wins Norris Trophy as NHL's top defenseman
Chicago Blackhawks rearguard Duncan Keith topped Nashville's Shea Weber and Boston's Zdeno Chara to claim his second Norris Trophy as the NHL's best defenseman.
Keith, an absolute speed demon who factors heavily in the Blackhawks offensive brilliance (highest scoring team in the league), was second among NHL defensemen in points with 61, while leading his team in ice-time with almost 25 minutes per game.
The 30-year-old Manitoba native won his first Norris Trophy during the Blackhawks 2009-10 Stanley Cup winning campaign, and represented Canada at the 2014 Olympics, recording a single point in six games.
