PHOTO: NHL logos get 'The Simpsons' treatment

Hockey and 'The Simpsons' have often gone hand-in-hand over the years, as evidenced by goaltender Peter Budaj's old mask and the popular 'Lisa on ice' episode from 1994.

Instagram user ak47_studios is taking the crossover to a whole new level by integrating images from the animated show into various NHL logos, and it's all kinds of awesome.

Here are a few examples:

It appears as though all 30 logos are set to get a similar treatment, so keep an eye out for more Simpsons/NHL related goodness.
