New York Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault is unsure whether Derick Brassard will be available on Monday for Game 2 after the forward left Saturday's contest with an undisclosed injury.

Vigneault even refused to confirm what section of the body Brassard injured when he was hit by Mike Weaver.

Brassard's injury meant an increase in faceoff duty for depth forward Brian Boyle, who finished the game an impressive 9-for-11 at the faceoff dot. The Rangers might need more of the same from Boyle if Brassard is unable to play on Monday.
