The Montreal Canadiens are the first team to advance past the opening round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, but they are not expecting to have forward Alex Galchenyuk back in the lineup in time for their next series.
According to Pat Hickey of the Montreal Gazette, the 20-year-old is not expected to be ready until the Eastern Conference finals, should the team advance that far.
Galchenyuk suffered a knee injury in Chicago near the end of the regular season and was ruled out for four-to-six weeks.
