The Anaheim Ducks have updated the status of injured forward Ryan Getzlaf.
Ryan Getzlaf suffered a deep facial laceration last night in Game 1 vs. Dallas. He received numerous stitches, and x-rays were negative.

Getzlaf is, however, expected to play Friday in Game 2.
