PHOTO: Penguins stage #GoldOut for Game 1 vs. Blue Jackets
The Pittsburgh Penguins, hosting their playoff opening game Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, are staging a "#GoldOut" at the Consol Energy Center. It's a hat-tip to the old "white outs" at Mellon Arena (which was popularly referred to as "The Igloo").
It's best to think of it as a white out, only with sepia filter.

Two comments: the "buckle up baby" slogan is perfect for a high-octane offensive club that starts Marc-Andre Fleury in net. Also, the old white out was better:
