VIDEO: Sabres defender Jamie McBain goes end-to-end on spectacular goal

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jamie McBain opened the scoring in the Sabres' final regular season game on Sunday. McBain split the Islanders defense like it was Senator Mendoza's skull, and capped off a spectacular end-to-end rush with a lovely wrist shot that flummoxed Islanders netminder Anders Nilsson:

McBain also froze Islanders rookies Kevin Czuczman and Scott Mayfield on the play. In all seriousness, McBain left the Islanders rookies staring at their skates; and it was only hours later, after the sun had set, that Mayfield and Czuczman realized - upon closer inspection - they were actually wearing loafers.
