Oilers' Ryan Jones on where he'll play next season: 'Not here'
The Edmonton Oilers appear to be approaching a messy divorce with grinder Ryan Jones, a pending unrestricted free agent. Jones gave Edmonton Sun reporter Rob Tychkowski some loaded quotes when discussing his future in Edmonton on Tuesday. Basically he doesn't think he has one:

Jones says it's time for a change and believes the feeling is mutual

Jones has seen his minutes dry up significantly over the past couple of seasons. In 2011-12 he played over 15 minutes a game, and the next season he averaged just under 13 minutes a game. This year he's down below 10 minutes per game, and has only dressed 52 times for the Oilers.
Though he's often occupied a third-line role for a moribund Oilers team over the years, Jones has produced like a fourth-liner throughout his career. He's also one of the worst puck possession players in the league over the past six seasons, and basically every player he's ever spent a significant amount of time skating with has done worse with him than without him.
