Penguins D Paul Martin cleared to play after breaking hand at Olympics

Defenseman Paul Martin has been cleared to play and is awaiting the coaches' decision on when he will return to the lineup, according to the team's official Twitter account.

Martin has not played for the Penguins since prior to breaking his hand at the Olympics in Sochi.

The 33-year-old has scored two goals and added ten assists while averaging 24:26 of ice time in 33 games, and will be in the lineup Thursday against the Winnipeg Jets.
