GIF: Blues F T.J. Oshie scores another pretty shootout goal
If St. Louis Blues forward T.J. Oshie's complete unmitigated dominance of the skill competition was a secret before the Sochi Olympic Winter games, then it's not a secret anymore.
Oshie scored a shootout goal on Tuesday night, as the Blues outlasted the Philadelphia Flyers for a 1-0 shootout victory, extending his league leading shootout goals tally to nine. Oshie has now converted on nine of 12 opportunities in the shootout this year, a 75% rate that is nothing short of ridiculous.
To beat Flyers netminder Ray Emery, Oshie came in slowly and pulled off a little juke move about 25 feet away from the net. Then he simply faked his signature five-hole move, and when Emery responded with a poke-check feint, Oshie went to the backhand and roofed the puck past the Flyers backup:

Oshie is basically automatic at this point.
