GIF: Coach Q respectfully disagrees with goalie interference non-call
Late in the second period of Friday night's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Phoenix Coyotes, Coyotes forward Radim Vrbata scored on two-man advantage to give the Coyotes a two goal lead.
As Vrbata unleashed a wrist shot which flummoxed Corey Crawford, Coyotes center Antoine Vermette - who was providing the screen at the net front - tumbled to the ground. While any contact Vermette made with Crawford (and he appeared to make none) was minimal, Crawford and coach Joel Quenneville believed the goal should've been disallowed for goaltender interference.
When the goal was allowed to stand, Quenneville expressed his disagreement in an agreeable, level headed fashion:

Based on Quenneville's wild gestures, we can infer that he told the referees: "Tonight I say: we must move forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling towards freedom!"
