VIDEO: Alex Stalock robs Jamie Benn with diving glove save

Making his third start in San Jose's past four games, backup goaltender Alex Stalock continued to make a case for more playing time moving forward and a tidy raise from the Sharks this summer with this unbelievable glove save off the stick of Jamie Benn on Wednesday night.

The Sharks went on to win the game 2-1 in overtime.

Stalock has allowed only six goals in his past five appearances for San Jose, with a .937 save percentage during that stretch. 

As outlined below, the Sharks may be forced to give him more starts due to his contract status, but it's becoming more apparent that he deserves to be in net also based on merit.
