Report: More than a dozen teams have contacted Sabres about Matt Moulson

by Ian McLaren

While the Buffalo Sabres are likely to make several veterans available on the NHL trade market, it appears as though forward Matt Moulson is drawing a fair amount of interest in advance of the March 5 deadline.

Moulson, an unrestricted free agent this summer, was acquired by the Sabres earlier this season in exchange for Thomas Vanek, and has recorded nine goals and 15 assists in 40 games with Buffalo. He's currently on injured reserve with an upper-body injury and will be out until after the Olympic break.
