Report: Rangers toying with six-year extension for Girardi
The New York Rangers and defenseman Dan Girardi are working on a long-term extension. TSN's Bob McKenzie reports a six-year term is being considered by the team.
Since taping Insider Trading earlier, now hearing 6-year term not out of the question for Girardi. Suspect NYR would prefer 5.

Girardi is in his eighth NHL season, all with the Rangers organization. In that time he has scored 169 goals in 542 games.
