Report: Canadiens turned down trade sending Bourque to Avalanche for Parenteau
The Montreal Canadiens have previously inquired about Colorado Avalanche forward P.A. Parenteau. Louis Jean of TVA reported the Canadiens were offered Parenteau for Rene Bourque but wanted more in return.

Translation: Refused transaction. Avs offered Parenteau for Bourque. Marc Bergevin said no. Wanted another player back.
Bourque has been held pointless in 30 of his 39 games played for the Canadiens this season. He currently has seven goals and one assist.
