Maple Leafs G James Reimer ventilated by Jets, pulled in hometown start
Morweena, Manitoba native James Reimer hails from a town roughly two hours north of Winnipeg. In the closest thing to a "hometown start" for the usually reliable Maple Leafs netminder on Saturday night, Reimer struggled enormously and was hooked by coach Randy Carlyle after just over 28 minutes. Reimer was replaced by Toronto's number one goaltender Jonathan Bernier.
Reimer allowed four goals against on 19 shots faced, and most of those goals appeared to go right through him. At least he had a better night than Sergei Bobrovsky?
