VIDEO: The Great Florida Panthers Beard Bet

Led by Krys "fearless leader" Barch, nine Florida Panthers players are engaged in a "beard bet" with all proceeds raised benefiting charity. On Monday the Panthers posted this video hosted ably by forward Shawn Matthias in which several Panthers players breakdown "the beard bet."

Some highlights: that Tim Thomas is so uncomfortable being favored in the competition and also that he's worried about his chances due to his love of mayonnaise (seriously). Also the ease with which Jonathan Huberdeau accepts that he's a dead ringer for Teen Wolf.

Luckily for Panthers players noted beard hater Steve Yzerman is the General Manager of the other Florida based NHL team.
