GIF: Flyers F Scott Hartnell hits Lightning D Hedman in the head
In the third period of a Saturday afternoon game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Tampa Bay Lightning, Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman was carrying the puck through the neutral zone when he was hit by Flyers forward Scott Hartnell in the head.
Whether or not Hartnell "picked" Hedman's head on the play or not, Hartnell contacted Hedman's head and was assessed a minor penalty for a rule 48 violation:

While Hedman appeared uninjured, he didn't take another shift on Saturday.
Hartnell hasn't faced any supplementary discipline since January of 2008, and is not considered a repeat offender based on the standards of the Department of Player Safety.
