Ville Leino scratched from Sabres' lineup Tuesday vs. Ottawa
Buufalo Sabres forward Ville Leino will not play Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators, and head coach Ted Nolan offers a pretty simple explanation as to why this is the case.
"Sometimes it's better to sit back and look and observe" -Nolan on Leino who will be out tonight. #Sabres

In 18 games for the Sabres this season, Leino has yet to score a goal and has registered only five assists. This lack of production and a possible lack of effort may serve to further explain the healthy scratch.
Nolan references Leino's lack of effort in practice yesterday as a reason for scratch, aside from the goals. Fair enough. #Sabres

Leino is in the third year of a six-year contract with the Sabres worth $27 million (via Capgeek).
