Toews, Kane tops in jersey sales for October, Tim Thomas ranks fifth

by Ian McLaren

Now that the calendar has turned to November, interesting data has been revealed about jersey sales during the first month of the season. According to Austin Karp of SportsBusiness Daily, familiar names top the list, with one surprising addition in the five spot.

Thomas has appeared in only six games in Florida this season, and was at the center of numerous controversies over the past couple of seasons, but there appears to be an appetite for No. 34 Panthers gear.

Also of note: hockey fans are staying away from a certain Philadelphia Flyers forward who has yet to light the lamp this season.
