Wild D Jonas Brodin will not require surgery on broken cheekbone

The Minnesota Wild got good news Monday as defenseman Jonas Brodin will not need surgery to repair his broken cheekbone. 

Head coach Mike Yeo told Minnesota Star Tribune said that there is no surgery planned and that Brodin might even skate Friday with the team. 

Brodin suffered the injury Tuesday night when an errant dump in hit him in the face.
