Moore kicked off the Rangers' scoring with a second-period goal in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Capitals.

Though he didn't notice any added ice time as a result of Michael Del Zotto's (illness) absence from the lineup, Moore was nonetheless able to net his first goal of the season. He fired off a season-high five shots on goal in the game, ranking behind first-liner Ryan Callahan for the most on the team.
