Reinhart was eligible to return to the WHL as long as he didn't play more than nine games with the Islanders, so he was at least expected to get look for a few games. It's surprising that the Isles would send down the fourth overall pick from the 2012 draft without even putting him in the lineup for a game first, but they did. Either way, fantasy owners will need to wait another year before they get to see what Reinhart can do at the NHL level.
