Minnesota Wild forward Mats Zuccarello is being placed on injured reserve after undergoing surgery on a lower-body injury sustained in Thursday's win over the Montreal Canadiens, head coach John Hynes confirmed to Sarah MacLellan of The Minnesota Star Tribune.
Zuccarello is expected to miss three-to-four weeks. He exited the game after being hit by teammate Brock Faber's point shot in the first period.

Zuccarello is an integral piece of Minnesota's attack and has been regularly deployed on the top line with Kirill Kaprizov and Marco Rossi.
The 37-year-old has notched 14 points in 16 games this season, his 15th in the NHL.
