Boone Jenner, Ryan Murray set to debut with the Blue Jackets
Columbus Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner and defenseman Ryan Murray will make their regular season debuts against the Calgary Flames on Friday, according to Shawn Mitchell of the Columbus Dispatch.
Jenner will play on the team's top line with Brandon Dubinsky and Marian Gaborik, while Murray will line up on the second defensive pairing with James Wisniewski.
Jenner was drafted in the second round of the 2011 NHL Draft, while Murray went second overall in 2012. Both players are seen as key components for the team's future, and they will be called upon to help propel the team into the playoffs as early as this season.
