Sabres name Steve Ott and Thomas Vanek co-captains
The Buffalo Sabres have announced that forwards Thomas Vanek and Steve Ott will serve as co-captains for the upcming season.

Vanek - 29 - led the team in scoring last season with 20 goals and 21 assists in 38 games, while Ott - 31 - registered nine goals, 15 assists and 93 penalty minutes over the course of 48 games.
Both players are set to become unrestricted free agents at the end of the 2013-14 NHL season.
