Blackhawks sign Teravainen to 3-year deal

The Chicago Blackhawks are signed free-agent forward Teuvo Teravainen, the team announced.
It's a three-year contract that carries an average annual value of $5.4 million.
The Blackhawks drafted Teravainen 18th overall in 2012. He played three seasons with the franchise, winning the Stanley Cup in 2015.
Teravainen was dealt to the Carolina Hurricanes after the championship, and he racked up 415 points in 555 games after the trade. Teravainen produced 53 points in 76 contests while averaging over 16 minutes per night this past season.
The Blackhawks are also signing free-agent forward Tyler Bertuzzi to help bolster their forward corps.
