Andrew Brunette to be Wild power play consultant

It hasn't taken Andrew Brunette long to find his place in the hockey world after retirement.

Brunette retired after the 2011-12 season, his 16th in the NHL, and immediately took a position as Hockey Operations Advisor for the Minnesota Wild. In addition to those duties, Brunette will now also act as a power play consultant for head coach Mike Yeo.

Brunette brings ample experience to the position, having scored 114 power play goals in his career and scoring 292 of his 733 career points with the man advantage.

In Yeo's two seasons at the helm, the Wild have finished 27th and 16th in power play efficiency.
