The New Jersey Devils acquired defenseman Colin Miller from the Dallas Stars in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round pick, the teams announced Saturday.

Miller, 30, potted six goals and 15 assists in 79 games while averaging 16:46 minutes per contest this past season. He joined the organization as an unrestricted free agent last July.

He has one season remaining on his current pact with a $1.85-million cap hit.

Miller has amassed 157 points in 466 career NHL contests with the Boston Bruins, Vegas Golden Knights, Buffalo Sabres, and Stars.
