The Tampa Bay Lightning placed forward Tyler Johnson on waivers Friday, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Johnson has a modified no-trade clause, and his camp gave Tampa Bay a list of seven or eight teams he'd accept a trade to, but the Lightning were unable to facilitate a deal, according to TSN's Pierre LeBrun.
The 30-year-old has four seasons remaining on his contract with an average annual value of $5 million.
Johnson recorded 14 goals and 17 assists in 65 games during the 2019-20 season. He had four goals and three assists in 25 games during Tampa Bay's run to the Stanley Cup.
