Golden Knights sign Holden to 2-year, $3.4M extension

The Vegas Golden Knights have signed defenseman Nick Holden to a two-year contract extension that carries an average annual value of $1.7 million, the team announced Monday.

Holden has appeared in 54 games with the Golden Knights this season, recording five goals and six assists. He signed a two-year extension with Vegas in 2018 and was set to be an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of this season.

The 32-year-old veteran has skated in 489 games with five different clubs throughout his career, amassing 44 goals and 94 assists.
