Canada's Anthony Mantha may face supplemental discipline for his hit on United States forward Colin White in Tuesday's game at the World Championship in Slovakia.

The IIHF is reviewing the play and a one-game suspension "isn't out of the question," TSN's Darren Dreger reports.

Mantha was assessed a two-minute minor for a check to the head as well as a 10-minute misconduct after he caught White, a center for the Ottawa Senators, up high midway through the second period of Canada's 3-0 victory.

The Detroit Red Wings forward assisted on Kyle Turris' first-period marker. He ranks among the tournament's scoring leaders with five goals and 12 points in seven games.
