"Bo" Groulx took a big step forward in his draft year - his second season with the Mooseheads - improving significantly on the 17-goal, 31-point campaign he produced as a QMJHL rookie in 2016-17.
The son of Syracuse Crunch head coach and former Team Canada world junior bench boss Benoit Groulx also chipped in eight points in nine playoff games with Halifax this spring.
"(He's a) highly skilled, intelligent, and determined two-way forward who does the little things to win," ISS Hockey wrote about Benoit-Olivier in the fall, when his impressive sophomore season in the Q was just beginning.
The left-shot pivot was slotted in at No. 20 on NHL Central Scouting's final rankings among North American skaters after placing 18th in the midterm edition.
