The Boston Bruins did not have Brad Marchand active for Sunday's matinee against the Chicago Blackhawks.
He was held out with an injury, which the team is only calling an upper-body ailment.
Marchand collided awkwardly with Blackhawks forward Anthony Duclair in Saturday afternoon's game, and Duclair was later ruled out for one-to-two weeks.
The Bruins are already playing without star center Patrice Bergeron, promising rookie defenseman Charlie McAvoy, and young winger Anders Bjork, who are all dealing with injuries of their own, plus veteran forward David Backes, who's serving the final contest of his three-game suspension Sunday.
