Joel Quenneville made some history by showing up for a matinee against the Boston Bruins on Saturday.

By virtue of working his 1,608th regular-season game, the Chicago Blackhawks bench boss moved into sole possession of second place on the NHL's all-time list, passing the late legendary former New York Islanders head coach Al Arbour, who he tied Thursday night.

Quenneville already ranks second on the league's all-time coaching wins list, but trails Scotty Bowman by a considerable amount in both categories, entering Saturday's contest needing 533 more games and 364 more victories to catch him.
