With one big-name winger off the board, the focus has shifted to the next, as the trade talks surrounding Buffalo Sabres forward Evander Kane have intensified since Rick Nash was dealt to the Boston Bruins Sunday morning, reports TSN's Darren Dreger.
After sitting in the press box as a healthy scratch Saturday, Kane was reportedly linked to the San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks, and to a lesser extent, the Philadelphia Flyers as potential destinations.
Kane is an unrestricted free agent following this season, and so far in 2017-18, has recorded 20 goals and 20 assists.
